SK networks started out as Sunkyoung Textiles, the origin of the SK group, in 1953, and has been creating customer value in a variety of sectors including information and communications, trading, energy distribution and consumer goods industries for the past 58 years. SK networks consisted of 4 CIC (Company In Company) .

The T&I company is delivering an impressive performance by focusing on products with high value, such as chemicals, steel and energy, and making use of SK’s solid global network and organizational ability to develop new markets. The company is also searching for ways to evolve sustainably by developing platform-type growth opportunities as it invests in overseas resources development projects and plantation businesses.

The IM company stabilizes the distribution and export of mobile phones and systems equipment, additional mobile services and B2B solutions. It is also trying to become a comprehensive ICT marketer by unearthing new expansion opportunities in the ICT industry.

The E&C company is the leader of the domestic petroleum product market, and supplies petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, kerosene and LPG) at 3,700 gas stations and LPG stations allover Korea. The company also provides products and services that can maximize a car’s lifetime value from the moment of car sales (new car, used car, rental car) to maintenance (service, emergency
mobile service, remote diagnosis, car goods etc) and scrappage. The company plans to expand the Car-Life business across the entirety of China by using the car maintenance business as a launch pad. It is also expanding its business into the Life-Care industry, in sectors such as Leisure and Health.
The PM company focuses on businesses that offer luxury lifestyle products that please customers, such as fashion, consumer goods, real estate and wine.

SK networks plans to evolve its business structure into a platform that is based on the “4+6” growth model. It will enhance the performance of four existing and six new businesses in order to gain additional benefits from the synergy between them. SK networks will seek to continuously create products and services that exceed customer expectations, and be recognized for its true value in the global market.
